Gustave Jean Jacquet (fr. Gustave Jean Jacquet; May 25, 1846 - July 12, 1909) - French painter, a student of Bouguereau.
First exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1866 with allegorical paintings "Shyness" and "sadness"; but shortly thereafter moved to portraits and genre that made him a reputation as one of the best masters. Vitality, expressiveness, fresh and finely crafted color constitute the main qualities of his works
